Established in 2023, Quonnect was created to address a challenge experienced by many small businesses in Uganda: having products to sell but limited opportunities to reach customers.
For online entrepreneurs, building trust and connecting with customers beyond social media can be difficult. For physical shop owners, limited foot traffic can restrict business growth.
Quonnect responds to these challenges by bringing entrepreneurs and customers together through organised Market Days, while supporting business development through skills-building and brand visibility.
What began as a platform for connecting entrepreneurs to markets has grown into a community spanning Kampala, Mbarara and Jinja.
Today, our work places particular emphasis on women's economic participation, with women representing 95% of our participants.
